Exeter Round Table’s Annual Charity Fireworks - 5th November 2018
For all round family firework fun, Exeter Roundtable's Annual Charity Firework Display at Westpoint is up there as one of the best. In its 38th year, as well as seeing the largest pyro-musical charity firework display in Devon you can also enjoy all the fun of the fair thrilling rides, a range of food and drink stalls. Every year has a different theme, this year is Mystical and Magical, you can expect to be ‘oohing and aahing’ at the fireworks whilst listening to some well known tunes designed to transport you into another world.
The Ottery St Mary Tar Barrels - 5th November 2018
An iconic bonfire night tradition, not for the faint hearted, takes place in East Devon every year. The Ottery St Mary Tar Barrels is a 400 year old tradition which sees local adults and children carry full sized tar barrels, ablaze with fire, through the streets of the town. This is an adrenaline fuelled bonfire night experience and one that you won’t forget. If you are not one for crowds, this probably isn't an event for you as it can get very busy.
The Big Sheep Bonfire Fireworks Party - 5th November 2018
This event truly is a party, there is so much going on from a toddler firework display to a mini street food festival, and of course a big firework display. This is a great event for children but we get the feeling the adults will be enjoying themselves more with the chance to play in the huge indoor playground until 9:30pm!
Malpas Heron Riverside Firework Extravaganza - 27th October 2018
This year, the famous Heron Riverside Firework Extravaganza in Malpas will be taking place a little earlier due to tide times. This is a family friendly event and this year has a Halloween theme with fancy dress compulsory, so dust off the witches hat, jump on your family broomstick and head down to the Heron Inn.
Polperro Fireworks Spectacular - 3rd November 2018
To celebrate Guy Fawkes, Polperro hosts its annual fireworks spectacular alongside judging of the guy and a barbeque. Head to the harbour from 6:30pm where the whole of the harbour comes alive with the display.
